The NATIONAL HIGHWAYS AUTHORITY OF INDIA (NHAI) is an autonomous agency of the Government of India, set up by an act of the Parliament, NHAI Act, 1988 “An Act to provide for the constitution of an Authority for the development, maintenance and management of national highways and for matter connected therewith or incidental thereto”, and is responsible for management of a network of over 50,329 km of National Highways out of 1,15,000 km in India. It is a nodal agency of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

RAJIV CHOWK-SOHNA HIGHWAY PVT. LTD. (RCSHPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed to undertake the construction & maintenance of 6-laning of Rajiv Chowk Sohna Highway Construction. It involves 6 laning and strengthening of new NH-248A from existing KM 2+740 (Rajiv Chowk) to existing Km 11+682 in Gurgaon under NHDP Phase-IV on Hybrid Annuity mode in the state of Haryana. The SPV has awarded the construction of this highway to the M/S. Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt. Ltd. (OSE), which is one of the most reputed highway construction companies in India with a proven track record of timely and quality-based execution.
